“I have always seen the smile as a creation to be designed, considered in every detail. That conviction has guided my entire path. I began my career in a dental laboratory, where prosthetics are crafted before they ever reach the mouth. That is where I started with Exocad in 2016, and developed the habit of treating a restoration as an object to be designed, not merely seated.
I believe dentistry must be as precise as digital engineering, and as human as emotion. To me, a restoration is more than a treatment: it is a creation that restores confidence, harmony, and authenticity.
After five years abroad, I am completing my dental medicine studies at Fernando Pessoa University in Porto, while designing, training and supporting several laboratories and clinics in their digital transition.
My master's thesis, “Digital Esthetic Dentistry: Personalization and Optimization. A Case Study” (supervised by Dra. Augusta Silveira), explores personalization and optimization in digital esthetic dentistry around a clinical case assessed with the OHIP-14 instrument. It will soon be available on this site, under the Thesis tab.”

An exclusive experience where photography, digital design and esthetics meet to reveal your future smile.
Every project is studied, simulated and visualized before any treatment.
Because confidence is born when you know exactly where you are going.
Illustrative simulation: individual results may vary.
Digital design at the heart of every result.
Design, training and support for clinics and laboratories, a digital partner from end to end.
Wax-ups, smile design, veneers, crowns, onlays, printable mock-ups, preparation & surgical guides, splints and removable prosthetics, up to All-on-X.
From your STL, photos and CBCT: analysis, treatment plan, design and clinical protocol delivered turnkey.
Exocad trainer, for laboratories and clinics alike: Smile Design, design, dental photography, optical impression and the full digital workflow.
Scanner and digital-workflow setup, esthetic protocols, lectures and consulting for clinics.
Crowns, veneers, splints, printed models and temporaries, the reliability of a digital laboratory.
Colleagues refer their complex cases: veneers, anterior rehabilitation, severe wear, VDO increase.
Clinical articles written and designed by Hugo Fusaro, at the intersection of digital design and practice.
The complete digital smile design workflow: the three key photographs, 2D and 3D analysis, and clinical integration. A three-pillar method to plan the esthetic outcome upstream.
When to go subgingival, the three optical obstacles of the cervical margin, and the protocol that secures the scan. Comparative data, with and without retraction cord.
A legally regulated procedure, the Pola SDI range, selecting the right patient, managing sensitivity and complications. A five-step protocol, no shortcuts.

Each case shows a design and the reasoning that justifies it, not just an image.

Complete maxillary rehabilitation: misaligned dental axes, proportions and incisal plane to be fully reworked.
Full-arch wax-up in Exocad: axis realignment, harmonization of proportions and the incisal plane, photorealistic surface anatomy.
A photorealistic render produced by an in-house algorithm that turns raw CAD files into realistic images. Design work on a model, no identifiable patient data.
Case studies in preparation: pure CAD renders, with before/after sliders where framing allows.
From the bench of the family laboratory to digital design, then to the clinic.

Esthetic rigor does not stop at the smile: it extends to the space around it.
The patient experience is not the dentist's care alone: it unfolds in the whole environment that welcomes them.
A place where the fully digital workflow, light and materials follow the same attention to detail as his design work.
Concept visuals generated by artificial intelligence. Project under consideration; these spaces do not yet exist.
“Modern dentistry is not just about restoring teeth: it restores confidence, emotion, and identity.”
A vision in three principles: digital integration, aesthetic personalization, and human connection. Every smile is treated as unique, never standardized, and technical precision always serves emotion.
